Aanchal Kumar Evicted From Big Boss

If your have to stay in Big Boss house make sure that you offer entertainment which can generate interest in the viewers. Probably super model Aanchal Kumar never tried to get the focus on herself and it resulted in her ouster from the Big Boss house. Exit of Aanchal was probably the most hilarious as she was quite vocal in displaying her pleasure over getting out of the restricted confinement of Big Boss house. While going out she nominated Sara Khan and Veena Mallik for the next eviction. This week Aanchal was nominated for house eviction along with Dolly Bindra and Ashmit Patel. Despite of all the displeasure of house mates over the presence of Dolly it seems that viewers are not tired of antics of Dolly and she will stay in the house for another week.

Rahul Bhatt is Out of Big Boss 4

Rahul Bhatt has been eliminated in the very first nomination. This elimination can prove dampener for his aspirations to become an actor in Bollywood. The real contest has begun and seems that it would be really hard for people who are not good at creating controversies to stay in the house of Big Boss. Rahul Bhatt has been part of some memorable scenes of Big Boss and the most memorable of all was the scene in which The Great Khali did push ups according to his instructions. Rahul who stayed aloof in the show had close bonding with the WWE wrestler and the duo is going to miss each other.

Adarsh Society Scam- Punish The Culprits

It has been long overdue and now it is the right time when the media should start treating the defence personnel the way it treats politicians. There is endless list of scams in which complicity of top as well as lower level officials of defence forces has been proved but thanks to media they are still enjoying the respect and no one is shouting to punish these perpetrators. After the recent Adarsh society scam all the citizen groups must raise their voice to make sure that all the officials and politicians who benefited from this evil peace of architecture lose their pension and rank. Furthermore, their service record should be wiped out.
Is not it shame that these selfish money launderers are / were part of the same force which is responsible for keeping our country secure. There are demands to initiate a case of sedition against Arundhati Roy but no one is demanding arrest or punishment for the offenders who are from defence forces. It seems that media is also aware of its limitation after all criticizing a writer is far easier task than criticizing those who are holding powerful positions.
Our highly revered defence officers have been involved in endless scams but they are not getting punished like their counterparts in Indian Police Service. Its high time when the democratic system makes sure that defence officers get disciplined and don't dare to denigrate the respect and integrity of their designation.

Rental Prices in Delhi

The reality prices have been rising in leaps and bounds in all over India and the race of price rise is led by the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. The way prices have risen it can be a nightmare for normal people to do house hunting in these cities. Right now I am going to discuss the rental prices in Delhi. If you want to discussion region wise then according to latest trends you will have to pay very high rental price in Kalaka ji, Defence Colony and Lajpat Nagar. If you are looking for accommodation which consists of two bedrooms, with dining/ living room and attached bathroom/ washroom/ toilets- overall space of 700 sq. ft. to 1100 sq. ft. then according to the present trend you must be ready to negotiate your rent in the following price ranges:

Kalka Ji Rs. 15000 to Rs. 25000

Mayur Vihar Rs. 8000 to Rs. 20000

Dwarka Rs. 10000 to Rs. 22000

Lajpat Nagar Rs. 11000 to Rs. 22000

Mukherjee Nagar Rs. 12000 to Rs. 30000

Ashram Rs. 15000 to Rs. 26000

Shahadra Rs. 9000 to Rs. 20000

Laxmi Nagar Rs. 9000 to Rs. 25000

Frankly speaking the rental increases if you are close to the market area and it decreases when you are away from the market area. So if you are looking for home where you can live peacefully and which doesn’t pinch your pocket then make sure that you are searching your home in the areas which are separate from the commercial area.

Expected price of Coal India IPO

Coal India IPO has invited unprecedented interest from investors of all size and types. Despite of being a large size IPO it got subscription of over 2 times in retail section and overall subscription of 15 times. The fact is that Foreign Institutional Investors and Indian Financial Institutes have shown very high interest. Now the question is what should be the ideal price of this IPO on listing day of 4th November 2010. In my opinion don’t expect astronomical rise in the price as it is a fairly large IPO which will require great volume of trade before any significant rise in the price. Any gain which is above 12 percent would be enough on the first day. Don’t forget that another PSU IPO, NHPC went on to touch around Rs. 41 on the day of listing but after that it has been trading at prices much lower than its IPO price and it has been more than 1 year. The company is doing well in its sector and considered leader in Hydroelectric power companies.

Coal India IPO can also have similar fate so it would be prudent from the part of retail investors to book profit on listing day don’t forget that even 12 percent profit would mean profit of around Rs. 7200 for retail investors who applied for the highest amount of shares in IPO (Rs. 98000). Book building. The exact amount of allotment for the highest retail bidders should be Rs. 49000.

Silent Revolution in Bihar

Bihar has been undergoing silent revolution, the change in behavior and attitude of people is apparent in the urban areas. Nowadays, it is rare to find youths sitting at road side corners as most of them are either employed or engaged in some fruitful occupation. The crowd sitting outside the house of MLAs and MPs has subsided significantly as Biharis have realized very well that most of these politicians care little about them and they will engage in cat fight to take credit for the improvement in their living standards.
This silent revolution has happened because of the migrant workers of Bihar who work in different parts of India and world. People who are living the state have observed perceptible change in the living standards of people who have family members living outside the state. This change is not just confined to economic improvement, the improvement in behavior and willingness to follow social rules is also obvious. Earlier, there were significant number of people in this state who used to equate acts of breaking public law as show of strength but now there is little tolerance for such acts. The fall in the stature of criminal politicians is the testimony to this change of attitude. Most of these petty criminal politicians are spending time in prison or have started occupations which has nothing to do with crime.
This revolution will be complete when people will get rid of shady politicians who are exceptionally well versed in making false statements. On one hand they talk about progress and development with crime free environment. If Bihar wants to become a world class place it will have to find its world class leaders, the current crop of leaders are nothing but bunch of crooks who are operating with sole goal of filling up their pockets with the money which is meant for poor and downtrodden. Ironically, these politicians want to make sure that people remain poor otherwise their divisive politics will go out of business after all you need poor and destitute if you want to win elections in the name of backward class politics.

I Hate Luv Stories- Movie Performance Report

I Hate Luv Stories is most likely going to be remembered as a movie which has got everything but a decent story. Anyway most of the movies of Dharma Productions lack in only one thing and there is no prize for guessing that this movie is lacking a decent plot.
The movie could have ended up as another dull and disastrous presentation but thanks to the screenplay and direction which has made this otherwise insipid movie quite interesting. Don’t expect any exceptional performance from the leads Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor as there is little room for that in the storyline. The movie can be liked by people in the age group of 14 to 20 as only they can feel related to the story line. The story can be summarized in only one line and that is a guy doesn’t believes in love but after meeting a beautiful damsel he starts believing in dream love stories. What happens during that changing process is utterly unimportant and forgettable.
You must watch this movie if you want to see the fresh face of Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan who look excellent on screen and complement each other very well. As far as the Box Office performance is concerned it is doing excellent in Multiplexes and might recover its cost quite easily.

Super 30 Experiment For Assam, Game of IIT Entrance

Super 30 has been catching attention of politicians for quite long time. Bihar's chief minister Nitish Kumar has been permanent feature in almost all the functions that is organized by Super 30 director Anand Kumar. The real fact is that the politicians start running after the things which attracts crowd and specially the crowd of down trodden, poor, destitute and those who are living at the fringes of the society. Recently several students from poor background made into the IIT under the tutelage of Mathematics Wizard Anand Kumar. One can imagine about the kind of students who made into the IIT through Super 30 by the fact that one of the successful students used to sell Toddy (intoxicating alcoholic drink).
Super 30 has been creating dream like stories for poor and backward in the state of Bihar. This is the section which participates in the election wholeheartedly and votes according to the interest of their community or caste. Just like the plank of secularism, super 30 has got the full potential of becoming a plank for politicians to remain afloat in the murky waters of electoral politics. Thats why politicians who rarely prefer to give their time for important assignments are flocking to have meeting with Anand. In last few months Anand has been in news for meeting the top politicians like Manmohan Singh, Kapil Sibbal, Tarun Gagoi and Nitish Kumar. One can imagine the clout of this person with the fact that he not only met these persons but he also suggested amendments in educational system specially IIT Entrance Exams. This feat is almost impossible for the top businessmen, politicians and off course the professors who are working at IIT. As top political leaders rarely give their time for personal meetings.
Even leaders like Gagoi who shouldn't have any business with super 30 in Patna wants to have a institute in the state of Assam based on the same prototype. The number of IIT seats are increasing in leaps and bounds thanks to the policy of educational branding. There is more than lenient reservation for OBC, SC and ST by government of India. Don't get surprised if we hear that even the super 30 Assam is getting 30 out of 30.
My question is what is the main requirement:
Increasing the number of coaching institutes like super 30 or increasing the number of educational institutes which promote quality education and discourages rote learning.
We all know that entering into IIT might be tough but the quality of education they provide is not among the greatest in the world, this fact is implicit as most of the engineering degree pass outs of IIT rarely pursue their Post Graduation from IIT. It is a well know fact that engineering graduates of IIT mostly go to US for their higher studies and those who want to leave the field of Engineering try their luck in UPSC or CAT.

Improvement of Education in Bihar - Mirage or Truth

There was lot of hue and cry over development of Bihar in a recent BJP conclave at Patna. However, there was not a single honest leader who felt ashamed about the problem of electricity, crime, lack of educational institutions as a matter of concern. As far as development is concerned only die hard suporters of BJP and Janta Dal U would make such claims. Otherwise people in the state of Bihar are as insecure as they were earlier. Almost all the universities in the state get the media limelight for wrong reasons. Sometime there is sacking of VC or somtimes students go berserk when they are not allowed to cheat in the exams.
But the problem is the leaders in power are hobnobbing with media in projecting positive image. The universities are going down to hell but the ministers are shamelessly attending the felicitation functions of coaching institutes. Candidates who have completed there B Tech or Engineering Degree from IIT rarely get the kind of limelight which is enjoyed by the students who somehow manage to enter the prestigious Indian Institute of Tehnologies, courtsey reservation system and rote learning under the tutelage of alleged Math wizards.
I am really sorry to say but the fact is if there are real wizards of Mathematics in Bihar then why don't they work in the field of Rocket Science instead of teaching 10+2 students. The fact is these coaching institute directors have become wizards just because of conspiracy of print media. The media in Bihar is friendly towards Government and they rarely scrutinize the behavior of the ministers and local administrative officers who are turning the city of Patna into hub of coaching institutes run by greedy entrepreneurs with little ethics.

Are blogs really genuine

There are many bloggers out there who publish information with sheer aim of bringing in visitors and makine money with adnetworks. They try to capture titles in search engine results which are related to celebrities. The information they provide are mostly whimiscal and speculative. However, if you want to authenticate the information do check the same information on other websites or blogs and only then arrive at any sort of conclusion.
